On the pages above you will find the daily schedules and class descriptions for the 142 classes being offered at Innovations this year.  We are delighted to offer you a wonderfully diverse group of classes and teachers.

Here is an explanation of the types of classes that are available this year.

LECTURE classes take place in classrooms that will hold from 20 to 125 students.  The teacher may use audio visual equipment such as a data projector or an overhead projector and may use samples to teach their class.

LECTURE/DEMO classes are held in large classrooms that will hold from 60 to 125 people.  There will be a working longarm quilting machine in these classes and the teacher will be using the machine to demonstrate techniques and designs, etc., during the class.  Depending on the size of the class, the classroom may be equipped with a video camera and large screens or monitors so that everyone can see what the teacher is presenting.

LECTURE/HANDS-ON  or LECTURE/DRAWING classes are designed so that the student is actually working on a project during the class.  The class project can be anything from drawing quilting designs to doing quilting machine maintenance.  Typically, enrollment is limited in these classes

Computerized - (Name of System of Program) - Indicates that the class information will be specific to the system or program named. Most students enrolling in these clsses own the system or program being taught.

ALL SKILL LEVELS—Indicates that this class is appropriate for all skill levels.
